Measures from the Institute of Medical Relevance: Abolishing the general examination in pediatrics and certain changes in mixed remuneration

At the request of the Institute of the relevance of the medical acts (IPAM), the RAMQ has rectified certain information that was sent to you in the April 8, 2021, Newsletter 011.

Abolishing the general examination in pediatrics – Report

In Section 2 of Newsletter 011, the abolishment of the general pediatric exam (billing codes 09194 and 09196) originally scheduled for July 1, 2021, is delayed until December 1, 2021.

Mixed remuneration (Annexe 38) – Carry-over of hours to a different day (not applicable in anaesthesiology)

In Section 6 of Newsletter 011, the changes to end the carry over of hours to a different day effective June 1, 2021, are delayed until October 1, 2021.
It will therefore be possible for you to optimize your mixed remuneration from June 1 to September 30, 2021. Therefore, if you work more than 7 hours in a day, you will be able to continue to use the excess hours to make up the difference for one day in the same two-week period.
As a result, the programmed changes to the Facturation.net platform will be delayed until October 1, 2021.
